Stars and Stripes 5k Past Events Highlights

The first Garfield Ridge Stars and Stripes 5K Run was on July 01,2017.

 

TRI-BUILDERS, NFP (2014-2022) was a Youth Triathlon Team located on the southwest side of Chicago that provided Chicagoland area kids with triathlon coaching. TRI-BUILDERS was established in 2014 and was an official certified USA Triathlon Club. 

 

TRI-BUILDERS, hosted the first Garfield Ridge Stars & Stripes 5K Run in July 2017 with nearly six hundred participants coming out to the event. We were greatly honored to have been a part of such a great event for the community. We learned that there’s major planning and intricacies needed for the event to take part outside of just getting people to come out for a run. The Garfield Ridge Stars and Stripes 5K Run was born with the main intention to recognize, remember and thank our Men and Women who serve in the Military, Fire Department and Law Enforcement.
